Week 21 - And Then There Were Four

I'm sure I know all of the people who read this blog and I am also sure all of you know this little fun fact already, but Avery really wanted to share it on the blog this week. Avery is going to be a big sister to a new little  brother come October!! It has been so much fun teaching her and talking to her about her impending life change. She's gotten to the point that when we ask her where her brother is, or where Bryan is (that's the kid's name), she will point at my belly or even sometimes, horrifyingly, she will lift my shirt up. Nobody wants to see that! ANNNY way, we have been taking weekly photos again this time around because it's pretty fun to compare to when I was pregnant with Avery. We have also been taking pictures of the belly with Avery just to watch both of them grow at the same time, as they will continue to do for the rest of their lives :)

Luckily, we finally had a day of sun yesterday, so Avery was FINALLY able to play on her slide.. She LOVES the slide, will go up and down and up and down, over and over again! It was pretty easy to get a picture of her on that slide and running around in the backyard! She loves being out there. We used the shirt she is wearing to tell my family that I was pregnant. We put her in her little shirt and let her run around, waiting for everyone to notice. It took a little while, but finally they all did! So now, I am using it to "tell" my ever faithful blog followers (even though you all already know haha). Either way, it's fun to see the pictures because she's just so dang cute!!!

Always carrying rocks when she's outside.
Haha, such a little goober! Wouldn't smile AT the camera here, but still smiling and still has that rock.
"WOO HOO!! I'm going to be a Big Sister AND I get to play on my slide!!!" - Avery
A little action shot!!
Buddy was supposed to be taking a picture of Avery AND the belly, but cut the belly off here. However, I just think this picture is adorable!!! Look at all of those TEETH!!!!
Another action shot.... 20 Weeks, Half-way There!!!!

Week 20 - Down in the Dumps

It's always difficult when the tiny person is sick! It seems to make it even more difficult to accomplish taking a picture of her. Luckily, we have small times in which she decides to ignore she doesn't feel well and is happy for a little bit. In the pictures below, she had decided that she wanted to take all of the blankets and pillows off of the couch and make a small cozy bed out of them to watch her cartoons. When I went to grab my camera and came back to take a picture, I realized she had put a ball in her mouth as well.. of course, making it cuter!!

Such a little goober!!
You have to admit, it looks pretty comfortable!

Week 19 - Bedtime

The title here is pretty explanatory. I figured I may as well snap a few pictures while Buddy was getting Avery ready for bed, clearly on a non-bath night! Because Buddy and I are able to work from home, the person who had to be in the office that day usually puts the minion to bed. Clearly this was a day that I was working from home so Buddy was settling in to read his little girl a bedtime story. It's one of our favorite times of the day.. and also her's :)

It's sometimes quite difficult to get this little girl to lay down while we are getting her ready for bed. She likes to be sitting up and involved in everything.

To distract from being laid down, we let her play with a hanger, book, toys... ANYTHING. Gotta get those PJs on!!

Goodness gracious this makes my heart swell with love! I love these two soooo much :)

Week 18 - Lacrosse Day

We had a bit of a break in what seems like day after day of rain on Sunday and our little family took advantage of it. Buddy was asked to play two lacrosse games on Sunday and Avery and I decided we would tag along and watch! I think it's so cool for her to experience and witness us doing things we are passionate about and things we love to do. I also love her getting the chance to be a part of different sports. She hasn't seen lacrosse yet... and honestly, she really didn't even watch it at all haha! Oh well, she had a great time playing with the grass, some football equipment and eating her goldfish. All while getting some good ol' sun and vitamin C :)

Golfish make everything better.. yum!!!
One of the toys that was played with instead of watching the game. She loves making sounds on this little guy!
Watching Daddy play Lacrosse!!!
"Hey Mom, want a golfish??"
