2016 Week 16 - Like the Morning I am Golden

I was meeting Teresa and Trever to do some maternity pictures this week and when we decided to do them in Golden, Buddy and I decided to make it a family trip. I absolutely love when my favorite people in the whole wide world come with me to do shoots and we are able to make it a fun time. Avery loved Clear Creek and obviously wanted to swim and throw rocks into it! Luckily, she was able to do one of those. After the shoot (and rock throwing) we all went and got some ice cream, too. It was a great night and I, naturally, took a few pictures along the way!!

This was her face right when we got there.... because we wouldn't let her take a bath in Clear Creek. 

Devastated... all she wanted was a bath.

She recovered well and Buddy took a couple pictures of me with my tiny people. These two are the best.

Not sure what's happening here but I think Bryan found a bug.

2016 Week 15 - 1/2 a Year and Butt Squash

I can't freaking believe it.. my SECOND baby is half of a year old!!! He's a whole six months. I swear, this was the fastest six months of my life.. and the best!! He has just recently started sitting up a bit if I set him up perfectly, which was perfect for this shoot. He struggled a bit at first because I usually does a full body smile which resulted in a head to floor action. It's amazing how fast they learn things. He sat up wonderfully for almost the whole tiny shoot we did :)

Since we are officially 6 months old... that means starting some solid foods. On the menu tonight, for the first time: Butternut Squash! He wasn't super thrilled about it, but I feel as though he will be a big fan of eating :)

2016 Week 14 - T-ball Time

It was weird going thorough these pictures as I sit here with the spring storm of the year going on outside. It makes me super excited for the nice weather to come back. While I work during the day, Avery loves to go outside to explore. I looked up at one point and she was picking the flowers off of the tree. Turns out, she looked so adorable with her little dress on and her flowers so I obviously took some picture!

But she loves them so much so I just don't even care.

I do want to know what she's thinking about when she stares at the flowers like this.

It's like she's looking for something.. maybe bugs?

We decided to sign Avery up for T-ball this summer, so later in the week, we went and got her a tee, bat and ball to practice on. I just love grilling season, sitting outside, playing T-ball and grilling up some burgers. Can't beat it. Also, be pumped for some pictures later on of Avery, playing T-ball, in her T-BALL HAT!!!!! I can't wait one bit!!!
