This past weekend, we took a tiny road trip to Aspen. I had to do an engagement shoot up there so we figured we would make a weekend out of it. Obviously, I planned on taking some pictures of my kids playing, being adorable, all that stuff but up in the mountains. I wonder when I'm going to learn that life is just BUSY with two tiny peeps. Which, of course, means I didn't have time to grab my camera and take some pictures. However, I had plenty of time once we got back. We had been in the car for hours so we just stretched out on the floor and hung out and played until bedtime, giving me a great opportunity to snap away!

We also had another milestone the night we came back from Aspen and Bryan spent the first night up in his room. That's right, I was super slow and sentimental and didn't move him up for a long time. Thinking this is our last little nugget, I savored the time with him in there. But.. now he's a big boy and up in his crib!!! Such a sweetheart!
