2016 Week 19 - Tomatoes and Yatho

What the shit is Yatho???? Welcome to my and Buddy's life for a few days. Avery would say it over and over again... but seriously, it doesn't sound like ANYTHING!!! Finally, we made her actually point at what she was saying and it was WATER! Yatho = Water. Makes sense!! Anyway... this week, we had another expected forcast of days of rain, so Avery, Bubby and I set out to plant some tomatoes. This turned into a planting tomatoes and drinking yatho party which Avery then became a tiny soaked human!! She didn't seem to care and I got to have fun spraying the water and taking pictures :)

He's so serious when he watches us play

Drankin' some yatho

It makes me laugh every time!

Obviously, we had to get Titan some water as well.

She usually hates it when her clothes are wet... I see an internal struggle here.. "Deal with the wet clothes and stay outside, or go inside and change" She stayed in the clothes all the way until bed time :)

I love her little wet face... I think she was putting more water into Titan's bowl here.

Huppin' mama out

I got a little carried away taking pictures of her wet face!

It's just so cute!

She loves playing in yatho

Pure happiness

Always gotta have one "say cheese" pic

Such different eyes than her Brother's.... I think they are equally as gorgeous

My blooming Mother's Day present

I love Tulips!!

The lonely tomato shot. Planted this guy right after this picture.

2016 Week 18 - Mother's Day

This post will be a bit out of control! As I uploaded all of the images, I realized I had my camera out and with us a bit much this week.. which results in lot of random pictures!! I will just go in the chronological order of the week.

Starting Monday, I know from the soccer uniform in the picture, Avery sat down in the chair before nap and started "reading" to Bryan. Lately, she has really been into reading to us and I absolutely love it. I start to see what she really hears as we read to her.. most of the times it's the words we say in funny voices!

Reading a book to Bry before nap

I mostly just kept this one because I love his eyes :)

"Mom!!! Will you please just leave and let me go to sleep?"
After nap time, we went for a walk to the park.. and naturally, the camera went with me. However, I'm pretty sure this blog has seen may pictures of my kids in swings.. oh well, here's a few more.

She sure loves swinging

Avery loves to swing.. but she likes it more when "Bubby" joins her!

Lately, after naps, Bryan and I go in to get Avery and we end up laying with her awhile. This "laying down" consists of sitting there and "reading" books and playing games while Bryan usually chews on the tag of the Racoon that Avery dubbed suitable for him. It has turned into a fun little afternoon hangout!

My tiny crazy coconut:)

Big Sis reading to "Bubby"

I've been caught

Story time after nap time

Apparently, Bry found his own book to read.

I love those dang lips and that wild hair!! I think she's so pretty :)

Avery dubbed the "coon" to be Bryan's when he's hanging out in bed with her. He's more interested in the tag.

CHEESE!! With Leroy.
After nap almost every day, we try to make it a point to get outside and play in the backyard, even maybe do some yard work if that's something that needs to be done. This particular day, Buddy was putting something down (I have no clue what) to try and improve the little dead spots in our backyard. We also had to get our plants planted before tons of rain came in and helped us out. Obviously, Avery had to "hupp"

Stomping some dirt down.

She would walk behind Buddy, after he filled in the spots, and stomp the dirt down.

Such an interesting task.

Then I put her to work....

Then she got distracted!

After helping me plant the raised beds, she helped Dad plant some corn!

I just love how she isn't afraid to get dirty... in a dress, in the dirt!

Finally, I had set up a little get together with Peanut at the end of the week to get a couple of pictures of Bo before they went off to Alaska. It felt like the perfect time to see them, get some pictures and maybe even have Buddy take a few of me with my kids for Mother's Day!!! Here's the result... needless to say... we are still working on a picture of the three of us but Avery and Boss rock at pics together!!

How cute is this?!

Just a couple of men and their babies...... Buddy ruins everything!

Seriously though, like this the whole walk!

Until they took a tissing break

My favorite one!

Clearly, Avery wanted to be an Eklund in this picture

One of these days, he's going to smile for the camera

Smiles at me!!

But not the camera

Man he's cute!! And check out that cloth butt!!!

Nose kisses

My kids may not smile at the camera.. but damn they are cute!!!

He does this "smile" all the time... I call it the full body smile where he smiles so big and pretty much headbutts me! I love it!!
