Week 46 - One Monther

Well... it's pretty crazy, but my little guy is already one month old. I am so glad that I did these pictures for Avery along the way so I realized I should do the same for Bryan. While I did a chalkboard with Avery, I decided that because of my lack of free time with this one, I am just going to type his "stats" in on the pictures. I'm actually kicking myself for not doing it last time! It's interesting because it seems like he is already ready to do some of the things that took a little longer for Avery to do. Almost like she's whispering in his ear all the time "Time for you to start smiling." It's just really fun to see how different my two tiny people are... and how different!!

Tiny crinkle smiles!!! Didn't really start doing these until THIS picture :)

So bright-eyed!!

Giving little brother a hug... in the middle of saying "AWWWWWW" haha

He was pretty thrilled to take these pictures

His best frog impression.

I told him to look off into the distance.... he complied.

I was so excited to take this one!!! It will be so much fun to take them as he gets bigger. I'm sure there will come a point where the chair is just no longer safe haha. He already seems like he's her size!

AND of course, she had to kiss him.

The stats!

Week 45 - My Peeps

Lately, I have had this overwhelming desire to have some good pictures of me and my peeps of us just hanging around. I did some inquiries and searched around for the style I wanted and wasn't overwhelmed with the information I got back. Mostly, I wasn't thrilled about paying a ton of money right before Christmas....so maybe in the future. I was bummed thinking about how it wasn't necessarily in the cards for us now because it's fun to have pictures of all of the stages and I thought... "Hey dummy, why don't you just set up the camera on the tripod and try it out yourself." My mom also said similar words... and Buddy actually. So, I set up the camera and tried it out. Naturally, Avery was my little difficult girl. She was fine hanging out and playing with us until she realized I was also taking pictures. Made me pretty glad I didn't end up paying a lot of money to have her dislike of pictures documented, although it would have been a quick 10 minute session haha! Luckily, I was able to get a few that I actually really like! Maybe someday, I will be able to splurge :)

First picture of the day, she hasn't decided she hates pictures yet....

I have been taking advantage of the fact that she actually kisses me when I ask her to. I probably make her kiss me at least 10 times a day.

I also make him kiss me... but he doesn't have a choice :)

Look at the hair!! I love the hair!!

Another one!!! Notice the stickers on my hand... that's Avery's favorite thing to do right now; take a full sheet of stickers, take them off the sheet and relocate them to your hand. I have been able to keep her busy for about 30 minutes doing this.

Probably realizing here that she doesn't want him to be sleeping anymore.

That little girl LOVES her little brother a whole lot.

Buddy decided to join us for a few pictures.

My peeps!!!!

My main men!!! Haha, I love Bryan's face. Clearly he was ready for the picture

Bryan decided it was time to work on a puzzle

We are now in Avery's phase of not liking her picture being taken... she's taking a quick break from the camera.

So, Bryan and I decided to hang out until she decided to join us again.

I love that he's really starting to make eye contact with me. I just love when they realize who they are looking at :)

Now he's starting to give me a little smile back, too. I could do this for HOURS!

Insert: Avery.

I brought out a puzzle and that is like tiny girl Kryptonite, she couldn't resist.

Puzzle and little brother: The best things in the world

My two favorites :)

Had to get some closeups of the little man.

I asked him to show off his wing span.

Kid's getting big

Just another picture to prove to Buddy that his eyes will stay blue...... There will probably be many of these along the way :)

Another trick: Getting her excited about going outside.... didn't know I was taking her picture.

Right after she had Buddy get her all ready to go outside, she asked me to take it all off.

We decided to try again after nap time because I wanted a few more pictures of the four of us. We decided to pull out our illustrated Harry Potter book. If that didn't keep AJ interested, I don't know what would.

She loved it.

I don't think I will ever get sick of her piggies

Bryan is totally interested too.

Avery's default position lately; fingers in her mouth massaging her gums. Gotta love teething.

This little girl loves hard!!! She would squeeze Bryan in a big bear hug if we would let her.... can't say I don't feel the same.

See, making her kiss me again. Best kisses in the world (sorry Buddy)

She drug me into her reading nook to read... so glad Buddy is awesome enough to take some pictures.

Right before she does her typical petting of Bryan's face.

Kid loves her books....

....and her reading nook :)
