Week 30 - Avery, the Tiny BA (That's Business Analyst)

I was laying in bed last night and realized.. not only am I really far behind on my blog but I haven't ever done a post on mine and Avery's work day. I am lucky enough to be home with her three days a week while I work and not once have I brought my camera down to take some pictures of her. Maybe it's because I'm working and watching a toddler?? Either way, I brought my camera down today and realized I would take pictures and do my blog post ON TIME this week!!!! I was able to snap some fun pictures because she was a being such goofball today. As I looked through the pictures I took, I realized that this is just ONE way our day goes, every day seems to be different when we are together at home, doing different things. So, here's what today looked like, in our PJs :)

"CHEEEEEEEESE"
I love this little person's profile SO FREAKING MUCH!!!
And a cheese looking at me!!! SUCCESS!!
Eating some fruit snacks in her new chair, watching some Incredibles

Chillin' with her fruit snacks

I was trying to get a smile and she smiled but then did this! I like it better than a smile :)

Week 29 - Another Ranch Day

Just a little late on this post....like over a week. BUT, dry your eyes everyone, it's here!! We went up to the Ranch again this weekend and I decided, once again, to just follow Avery around outside. She was cracking me up, being this tiny little explorer.

We have been having a hard time trying to figure out what she is saying to us lately. She's talking SO much more but some things are just really hard to understand, which, understandably, frustrates her. As we were walking around outside, she kept pointing to her bench and saying something, which I could not understand whatsoever. So, she took matters into her own hands and picked the bench up and moved it to where she wanted. Apparently she just wanted a new view :) Who could blame her? I could sit and stare out at the ranch forever as well!!

Tiny exploring girl!
As she was walking around, she shut herself in the dog's outside pen. She thought she was really funny :) And, surprise surprise, her finger is in her mouth.. STUPID MOLARS!!
"Never mind, Mom, I will move the bench on my own!!"
I don't know what happened here... but something was apparently quite funny :)

She turned the bench around one last time and sat and looked out over the Ranch... I'm sure contemplating very important things.

Week 28 - Good Morning, Sunshine

Ok, in my defense here, I took these pictures on SUNDAY!! So, technically I'm not late, I just ran out of time on Monday and Tuesday :)

We have changed Avery's bed into the toddler bed to prepare for moving her into her big girl room. We actually did it awhile ago.. I can't remember if I mentioned it at all on the blog. Either way, she has started patting the bed beside her sometimes, wanting us to join her in the crib and hang out apparently. I'm not gonna lie, sometimes we do it :) It's fun to sit in bed with her and read her books, even more fun to cuddle with her. I woke up not feeling super great so Buddy went up to get Avery out of bed. I turned to look at the monitor and saw that he made it from our bed to her bed and she was reading him a book. I realized I didn't want to miss family hangout session so I headed up and even (surprisingly) remembered to grab my camera. I even thought about trying to fit all of us in there!! But these two looked so great on their own, so I just sat in the chair with my big belly and took pictures :)
How cute are they!?

She loves making it seem like SHE is the one reading you the book!

Can't beat morning snuggles with this adorable girl!!

Week 27 - The 4th of July

I'm actually posting kind of on time this week! I consider it a huge victory. Last week was EXTREMELY busy so I'm pretty proud of the fact any pictures were taken at all! We were able to snap a few belly pictures right before Buddy and I left to go to a concert. Then, I was able to get some pictures at my parents' house this weekend.

On the Fourth, we watched a nice little storm come through. The same little storm also drenched Avery and Bah Pah as they were out on the four wheeler taking a quick ride forcing them to quickly take shelter in the barn. That little girl came home smiling from ear to ear with wet curls all through her hair! The storm set the rest of the evening up perfectly in which we stayed up late (late for AJ) and watched fireworks and held sparklers. I was so excited to show fireworks off to AJ and equally as excited to see that she loved them. It's been like this from what feels like day one, the little stinker loves to be scared. So every time the firework would make a sound, she would jump then stare up and smile! The only part she didn't really like, was when Dad or Bah-Pah went to light the fireworks, she got a little worried about them each time.

I feel like I have said this a million times and will continue to say it as my kids grow.. but everything is so much better with this little girl and seeing the fireworks light up her little eyes and smile just made my heart explode with happiness :)

Gramma and AJ's footprints walking out to feed the sheep after the storm. Best Buds!!
Who doesn't love playing in puddles???
That rainstorm hairdo she had been working on all day!

Helping Gramma feed the sheep... a little at a time.

AAAAAAND back to puddles. This time, her tiny boots got stuck and she couldn't get herself out of the puddle :)

Starting the Four Wheeler to go on yet another ride with Bah-Pah

I loved watching these two with the sparklers.

She was so transfixed on the sparkles!! Her eyes crack me up! "I......Just.....Can't....Look.....Away!!!"

The flag looked soooo pretty in front of the blue storm clouds. Avery would look up at it and say "Pretty" all weekend long. I have to agree with her... it's a pretty gorgeous site!!! Happy Fourth of July!!!

Week 26 - Slackers

This week and last week have been ridiculously busy, so I'm kind of cheating. Not only is my post a few days late, but it's also lacking in content. I had full intentions of taking a picture of Avery with Willy this weekend seeing as it was his Birthday weekend, but someones crankiness due to teeth made that impossible. So, here we are, getting stuck with boring ol' belly pictures this week (they are the only pictures we took all week.) I already have high hopes for this weekend and our Fourth of July festivities leading to some great pictures. So here's to hoping and a few pictures of the belly with AJ (she was still teething if you can't tell).

Buddy really likes this picture because you can see Avery crying at the bottom. So indicative of our little photo shoot here.
Doesn't she look thrilled to have a little brother?

Not sure what she's looking at, but at least she isn't crying :)
