Week 27 - The 4th of July

I'm actually posting kind of on time this week! I consider it a huge victory. Last week was EXTREMELY busy so I'm pretty proud of the fact any pictures were taken at all! We were able to snap a few belly pictures right before Buddy and I left to go to a concert. Then, I was able to get some pictures at my parents' house this weekend.

On the Fourth, we watched a nice little storm come through. The same little storm also drenched Avery and Bah Pah as they were out on the four wheeler taking a quick ride forcing them to quickly take shelter in the barn. That little girl came home smiling from ear to ear with wet curls all through her hair! The storm set the rest of the evening up perfectly in which we stayed up late (late for AJ) and watched fireworks and held sparklers. I was so excited to show fireworks off to AJ and equally as excited to see that she loved them. It's been like this from what feels like day one, the little stinker loves to be scared. So every time the firework would make a sound, she would jump then stare up and smile! The only part she didn't really like, was when Dad or Bah-Pah went to light the fireworks, she got a little worried about them each time.

I feel like I have said this a million times and will continue to say it as my kids grow.. but everything is so much better with this little girl and seeing the fireworks light up her little eyes and smile just made my heart explode with happiness :)

Gramma and AJ's footprints walking out to feed the sheep after the storm. Best Buds!!
Who doesn't love playing in puddles???
That rainstorm hairdo she had been working on all day!

Helping Gramma feed the sheep... a little at a time.

AAAAAAND back to puddles. This time, her tiny boots got stuck and she couldn't get herself out of the puddle :)

Starting the Four Wheeler to go on yet another ride with Bah-Pah

I loved watching these two with the sparklers.

She was so transfixed on the sparkles!! Her eyes crack me up! "I......Just.....Can't....Look.....Away!!!"

The flag looked soooo pretty in front of the blue storm clouds. Avery would look up at it and say "Pretty" all weekend long. I have to agree with her... it's a pretty gorgeous site!!! Happy Fourth of July!!!
