This past weekend it was the yearly shearing even out at the Ranch. We decided to go out to help, which really means, Avery "helps", I watch, Buddy stays inside and Bryan naps. So, really, we are a TON of help. If anything, we were good for some entertainment. Avery "hupped" carry some fleece, herd some sheeps and eat some lunch. While I am so very happy that she is comfortable with the animals and loves to help my mom and dad, I'm really thinking there should come a time where she is a little scared of the animals. The kid will go right up to a sheep and wait there for the sheep to give her a "tiss." I guess the fearlessness is good... until she asks a rattlesnake for a tiss!! She won't... at least I hope she won't!!!

| She has been told that when the sheep are running around and she needs to be careful, she is supposed to stand up tight to the wall. Clearly, watching Scott requires some careful attention. |
