Week 32 - A Hobby

One of our favorite things to do during the summer is work in our yard. More specifically, hang out in our yard after we have worked in it. This summer, after last summer's summer of pregnancy, we were able to put in some really awesome raised beds for gardening and our tiny garden is really flourishing. It has been so much fun eating our own goods. Avery is in love with our home grown beets. Sometimes, it's the only thing on her plate that she will scarf down. Makes my heart happy. Today, Buddy was mowing the lawn so Avery and I decided to go outside and hang out. Avery, in the past, just sits in one spot on the grass, but she was ALL over it today... crawling and walking (assisted). So, here we have a picture of a small part of our fabulous garden and Avery baby playing in the backyard. I love her little smirk :)
