Well, I'm not quite sure if you can call it that when your mom does it, but this post marks the first time Avery ever had her nails painted. She realized recently that my nails were painted and started asking about them often and calling them "pretty"... which is funny because if you know me (which all of you do ha) you know that my nails are chipped and need to be repainted about 96.7% of the time. But, nonetheless, she was impressed by my gorgeous nails and wanted her to be done as well. So, we lined up all of the colors I have (or at least wouldn't mind painting on my three year old) and she chose. Her final decision was a cool blue that would adorn her adorable toes and fingers. Because I was going to be doing the painting, Buddy took control of the camera and snapped some pics while Avery was pampered. Maybe some day, she can return the favor :)

| The chosen one (the color) |
| I couldn't believe how still she sat as I did this! |
| And how focused she was |
| Making sure I didn't mess them up, I'm sure. |
| Check out the line of nail polish! She had to make an informed decision, looking at them all at once. |
| Bubs helped too... |
| "Avery, show me your nails!!!" ... close enough |
| Next hand. I love how intensely she is watching. Notice the recently finished hand. She was NOT going to mess those nails up. |
| I didn't realize how close our hair color is until I looked at this picture. |
| Final product on the toesies!! |
We also had some random fun this week... riding our strider around and washing the car with Dad!! Obviously the car washing came BEFORE the nails. Don't want to mess up mom's hard work.
| Wax on.. . |
| Rocking her Halloween shirt |
| "Hupp clean Mama's car!!!!" |
| Riding her bike in the unbelievably clean playroom!! With a bow in her hair... or a pin... something. |
