As the title says, this week was Thanksgiving. This year, we had dinner out at the Ranch and had plans to do the Turkey Trot in Greeley on Thanksgiving morning. It has kind of become our little tradition to do each year; wake up and go for a walk so we don't feel as guilty about stuffing ourselves with delicious food. We woke up that morning and it was just plain cold outside. Our plans of taking the new tiny boy and Avery along kind of went downhill as the temperature did. So, my mom and I decided to just stay home, spend time with the tiny people and bake some pies. Avery, however, still found a way to make it outside. The kid LOVES being outside. She started turning red all over and still wanted to roll around in the snow. The only thing that could get her to happily come in was a nice mug of hot chocolate... isn't that the real reason we play outside anyway??? To really earn that mug of hot chocolate!! Another great Thanksgiving in the books.. this year, as a family of four!

| So happy to be outside. She was just waking around, looking at me and smiling! |
| Exploring with her favorite pup. |
| An example of a unnatural smile resulting in saying "Cheese" |
| Yup, she's licking snow off of a dog house. |
| After licking the snow off of the dog house, she would look at me and say "MMMM!!!!!" |
| Barkley the pup was also interested in the dog house.. for a different reason. |
| Trying out the roof on the second dog house. Please notice the lick marks on the white dog house's roof. |
| There's a real Avery smile!! Makes me want to squeeze her |
| Avery and "Mah" made the paper chain for this year's center piece. |
| Avery did all of the cutting with sharp sharp scissors. Pretty impressive work :) |
| Had to document the cool pumpkin. |
| When we got home from the Ranch, I was itching to decorate for Christmas. So, I grabbed a couple of boxes to put out and I had a little helper. |
| She was alllll about the unloading of the decorations. |
| Ending the post with the tiny goofball smiling at me yet again :) |
